I’m backing Bodø/Glimt for several reasons. We know Glimt well, and last year they showed that they can compete with even the very best teams, including away from home. They held their own against Bayern Munich for an entire half and were clearly the better side against Borussia Dortmund. Napoli are, of course, a strong team at home and one of the best sides in Italy. However, they are not in their best form at the moment and have also struggled with a few injury problems. With a packed fixture schedule leading up to the next international break, Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri is likely to rotate his squad again. Both Kevin De Bruyne and Rasmus Højlund were left on the bench against Venezia. Lorenzo Lucca was given a rare start but failed to impress. This suggests that Højlund could return to the starting line-up. The Danish striker scored seven goals in his first eight Champions League appearances but has managed just one goal in his last seven. Although Mathías Olivera and Frank Anguissa have recently returned from injury, Napoli are still without David Neres, Antonio Vergara, Costantino Favasuli and Alessandro Buongiorno. Alisson Santos is also a doubt after picking up an injury against Venezia. Bodø/Glimt, meanwhile, look set to field a near full-strength side, with Evjen the main absentee. Several players also had the chance to rest over the weekend. I’m backing Bodø/Glimt +1 on the handicap. This means the stake is refunded if Glimt lose by exactly one goal, while the bet wins if Glimt draw or win the match.
