Liverpool managed to beat Villarreal 4:3 and many pundits start to believe the period of inconsistency is behind. How wrong they are. I don't think Liverpool are able to beat Brighton. Sometimes it is easier to win the Champions League fixture. Don't forget the last season, Liverpool were perfect in Europe, but at the same time had big problem in the Premier League.
Many pundits tried to explain what's the secret about Brighton. Every year the best players leave the club, but Brighton remain competitive. Some pundits are joking - the more Brighton sell their best players, the better they become. The current season is no exception, the Seagulls are on the third position with 16 points, although they should be considered as second on the table (Manchester City are expecting to be sanctioned in the near future). So, they are just two points behind Arsenal at the time of writing. Hirzeler is doing a fantastic job and the fans are satisfied. Some of them start dreaming about the Champions League, while the most optimistic are thinking about the title. Some 10 years ago Leicester City did a miracle, so everything is possible.
I think Brighton will not lose. The whole pressure is on Liverpool players and they showed it is difficult to handle.
