Monaco - Freiburg

Reasoning: Although Freiburg coach Schuster has stated that he will rotate the squad, German specialist publications and local fan blogs are still predicting a strong attacking lineup. Even though Scherhant, Goto and Matanović will all be left out of the attack due to the demanding and important match at the weekend, their “bench” players also represent serious quality. The expected lineup includes Höler, Suzuki and Grifo, while opinions are divided over whether Irié or Beste will start as the attacking midfielder.. Both are quality players.. Freiburg’s form is equally impressive.. They are currently in 3rd(!) place in the Bundesliga, with 15(!) goals scored, which is no small achievement.

However, another very difficult challenge awaits them now, as Monaco have also made a similarly strong start to the season.. They are full of quality attackers, have plenty of squad depth, and I am particularly pleased that Abline started ahead of Brunner at the weekend, meaning that all the experts now expect the latter to start today! Behind him, they also have a strong line of players in Fati, Golovin and Minamino, while their alternative options are not much weaker either, with Mika Biereth, Diop or Balogun available.. Both Monaco and Freiburg have made strong starts, both are full of quality attackers and play good football, so everything is in place for us to see goals from both sides today!
